My iPod is Born Again

I actually found this ipod years ago, but the battery has always been no good (it only worked when it was plugged in) and the body was just scratched to holy hell.

So I went to the internets and bought some new parts (totalling $20 much to my amusement), tore that sucker apart and rebuilt her from the ground up: new front panel, new metal back, new click wheel and center button, and a new battery.

The whole operation took me about 2 hours.  Well worth my time I think.  Now she looks and works like new.

And I know what you are thinking Amber.  You can see an ipod, an iphone and a macbook pro in these photos.  But it's not an obsession, it's just a personal preference ;-)

Holy Crapping CRAP this is COOL!!

I don't think anyone actually reads this blog anymore. Except maybe Amber...and maybe Matt. If you are reading this right now tap your foot twice and tug your left ear lobe...

Nope, no one is there.

Anyway, if anyone does find this blog, check this shit out!! Some beautiful work by an artist named Haroshi.
